Legal Information
Thank you for taking a moment to review Sword Forum
International's legal information. It is our desire to serve our
readers with the best of information on swords and swordsmanship. However
when our intellectual property rights are taken out of context, distorted,

believed that empowered readers in turn benefit others, and this has been
our driving force and mission.

Accidental Injury/Death Liabilty Disclaimer
Our motto is: "Never in anger." A sword should never be used to harm another human being, nor should it be worn in
trenchcoats, etc. to play "Highlander" or "Blade" unless you are a law enforcement officer or have a concealed weapons permit
allowing such concealment.
You also need to know that the laws regarding self-defense vary from country to country, province to province and state to
state and that the laws in states, countries, provinces and common wealths change. Any general discussion of ideas, thoughts
or principles on this board is understood and agreed to be only a first amendment protected exchange of ideas, not a call to
action or a legal opinion. The only lawyer on these boards who discusses these ideas is the one who keeps pointing out that
the law is in constant flux, and that even where there is a statute or principle that seems to protect someone in the use of
force, another law, statute, constitution or charter provision may override such a statute or principle. He steadfastly
declines to give legal opinions and no one else on this forum is providing a professional legal opinion, but is instead
speaking of their political orientation on how the issues should be resolved, not how they are resolved, regardless of the
language used.
Your use of these forums and website in any manner, including any access hereto, binds you, your assigns, heirs, agents and
principles (including clients) to these terms, with an agreement by any and all users to fully indemnify the Sword Forum
International from any litigation, liability or attempts to impose same relating to any discussion or approach on the above
discussed topics.
